Hi Em-En, thanks so much for the very stylish hat pattern. I have one on the needles right now in a variegated yarn, and I bought some really great buttons at Walmart in bright colors. Do you have any objections to my hat being sold for charity? My charity is The Handmade Afghans Project and we're trying to raise money for postage for the many, many afghans we mail to military hospitals for the wounded servicemen and women.

I love this hat. I would like to knit it with a wool I love that I used to make another hat (which turned out too big). My question is what is worsted weight? The wool I have is 16-20 stitches per 4 inches--do you know if that will work? Thanks for the help and the great pattern!

Hello-

I love this pattern. I just have one question. Mine came out looking like a kids hat. Doesn't fit me at all and I have a normal sized head. What did I do wrong? I should tell you, I am new at knitting.

Thanks

HI there, thanks for sharing this pattern, I made 2 of them as chemo caps for 2 relatives of mine battling breast cancer and they loved them. So, thanks for bringing them a ton of extra love and warmth during the holidays. Cheers!
oh, p.s. I knit them in size 7 with Paton's Soy Wool Stripes and they looked lovely and fit well.
